2022 saw a return to in-person storytelling events and it was
a most amazing year!
I had so much fun finishing up my second year as a
storyteller-in-residence at JFK School in Kingston. I presented “The Leftover
Quilt” SEL program to all the fifth grades in the Kingston City School District
and watched all the fourth graders share their “Stories of Three” after a week-long
storytelling residency. I went outdoors to tell to pre-k students in the
Meagher Woods, and the children at Stony Hollow Farm.
There was time left over to share stories at Peace Concerts,
Mohonk Mountain House, and aboard the Solaris, our solar boat docked at The
Hudson River Maritime Center.
And now it’s time for 2023.
Here’s what I have planned so far. Hope to see you in the
audience soon!
